Even a head Wal Mart CEO is a Klepto
Only if he just stole under $25...he would of gotten away with it.

I adopted him a week ago to be a companion for Mr. K my 10 year old buddy. Simon is also a lover and loves my lap, has an internal purr on switch and is very healthy and active.

MTV turns 25 today.
I watched the first hour of MTV on VH-1 Classic and this video blew me away. It could possibly be one of the best videos ever made! The cheese factor is not over the top and the effects! WOW!

Keane is returning to Portland this October and I just purchased my tix. Different venue this time, Arelene Schitzner Concert Hall where parking sucks, or is it the fact I haven't attened anything there in forever?
LastFM/Audioscroller just got a facelift and I couldn't be happier! Looks more interactive and my profile page is a feast to my eyes!
Went to the doc for the first time in 23 months. Down 30 pounds, bp normal, cholesterol is 77 (!?!?!), though my Homosystine is still high so I am taking an increased prx of Folic Acid/B vitamins. Gonna see a Gastronoligist about my G.I. track and spastic colon in the next week or two.

Homeownership in the Pacific Northwest. For a first time home buyer this is somewhat a challenge. I own a home now, a manufacturer home. It's 16 years old, in pretty good shape as well. No not a single, but a double and I got a good deal on it, though it can use a little more TLC to make it great, but for what it is, it's a cozy place. I want a house though. By this time next year I plan to have one.
Where? How much? What style? How big? How many beds/baths? Questions any first time homeowner asks. My sisters live in houses. They get me wanting one myself. We all live in the Portland metro area where like Seattle, San Francisco, and other major west coast cities, home prices are through the roof. I look at homes in parts of the midwest where I would think of uprooting if I did, and I litteraly get to pick from the cream of the crop. It's feels like I got 2006 money to look at houses with 1976-1986 prices. I can find a nice house anywhere there from $40,000 to $175,000 easy and there are many to choose from. Very nice homes. In the Portland area $175,000 is where I would even start. Eugene is slightly more affordiable and a more likely place locally to purchase a house.
I'm not too picky to find a house, just something nice. Somewhat bigger with space, but not huge. 3-4 bed, 1.5-2 bath, hot tub sounds nice too. Something with a little character.

I've been getting more time to make blog entries since I have more personal time...too much in my book. Is dating for me? Parts of it are ok and other parts terrify me. My hair, my clothes, my trying to keep up a coversation with someone I barely know. It's ovewhelming! I have both confidence and lack confidence at the same time, is that considered a happy medium?
Who knows...I need to try not to focus too much on meeting someone, or thinking of getting back together, or waiting out for something that might not be ready...or mabye never will be.
I work on the 4th 2-11p, double time and a half...thank goodness i'm at a location where I can look outside! My old location restriced my view from outside, and since I transfered I am able to look outdoors, and regardless of the weather, it has contributed to the improvement of my health...and I get to see the fireworks on the clock!
New DM concert video coming later this year!

If it's not one thing it's another. Tech/Electronics one by one fail or break down. Last month it was my new Dish reciever which I added a cooling fan to it. OK. Now just in time for today's 100 degree day it's my one year old LG Air Conditioner. When the cooling element comes on the plug "trips" off and so I have to reset it to have it start again...It trips off again. Called LG who I now know has the WORST 24/7 phone support! Hanging up on you because you want results gives you "no stars". So fuck them! When I upgrade my cell I will probably switch. Well Verizon takes care of me, so LG phones are no prob, just appliances.
I went down to Lowes and got a Samsung 12,000 btu (the LG is 8,000) for $250- and am installing it now. 92 yesterday (was 88 inside at 11:20p when I came home...Mr. K was outside all day in the shade) 100 today, 102 Monday.
Excellent phone support? Deep Discount DVD! I had a duplicate disc in my Homicde: Life On The Street set (Seasons 1-5 set, 22 discs, 1 dupe grrrr), She had e-mailed my my postage paid tag while I was still on the phone. ****!
While I install the A/C I listen to Electric Six's Danger! High Voltage...fortunately it's on e-music.com. Sweet!

ALL women that I am intersted in FRUSTRAE ME!!!!
I am glad I am single (at the moment), though I do want to be in a relationship. I don't see that happening anytime soon, so I will enjoy being single for now. Working 40 hours helps.
The A/C doesn't want to work on these hot days. Mr K is outside in the shade for now.

What a month June has become! I've done so much in the last 3 weeks than I done this year up til now.
- Flaming Lips concert (Yes, it was one of the best concerts I beeen to)
- Purchased a Titanium Green 2006 Ford Escape
- Went on a 4,500 mile trip
- Ended a 3 year relationship
- Added 3 states to my list of places I been
- Stirred emotions in me that haven't been stirred in quite some time
- Went to a baseball game
- Visited Mt. Rushmore
- Went to a strip joint (first one in 10+ years and the worst one in the USA, sad)
- Visited Kohl's and opened a charge account (whoppie do) It's like Mervyns but shoppable)
- Have my house to myself again
- Discovered there is Caffiene Free Diet Mountain Dew
Life is back to normal, well see how the rest of the month goes.

I finally found a skeleton template that I am pleased with, now I just got to tweak it while learning how to do it.
